Two N.Y. Firefighters Injured Battling Barn Fire

Two Panama, N.Y. firefighters were injured Thursday morning after a collapse at a barn fire, according to The Post-Journal.Crews responded to the blaze on Route 474 near Blockville around 1:25 a.m.Firefighters David Dole and Adam Kester were injured after a well casing fell from the structure.Both men were transported to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries was unknown.Panama was assisted by Ashville, Lakewood, Busti and Bear Lake fire departments.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department.
