Pennsylvania Firefighter Burned Battling Blaze

WEST VIEW, Pa. --A firefighter was hurt while battling a blaze in West View early Thursday morning. The fire broke out at a home along Georgetown Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. The blaze started on the second floor of the home, crews said. A firefighter suffered a minor burn while battling the blaze. However, he did not have to be hospitalized. Crews said the family who lives in the home wasn't there when the blaze started. The cause is under investigation.

A firefighter was hurt while battling a blaze in West View early Thursday morning.

The fire broke out at a home along Georgetown Avenue shortly after 1 a.m.

The blaze started on the second floor of the home, crews said.

A firefighter suffered a minor burn while battling the blaze. However, he did not have to be hospitalized.

Crews said the family who lives in the home wasn't there when the blaze started.
