Pennsylvania Firefighter Struck Outside Station

A Pittson firefighter was the victim of a hit-and-run outside his station on Monday, according to The Times Leader.Firefighter Michael Shovlin was tending to housekeeping duties at the firehouse on Kenndey Street when a red pickup struck him.The driver fled the scene and police are still searching for the suspect.Shovlin was transported to Wyoming Valley Medical Center and was listed in stable condition.
