Oct. 26--An Orlando firefighter was hurt early Wednesday while battling a fire at an apartment building on Orange Blossom Trail.

The injured firefighter, whose name wasn't released, was transported to Florida Hospital Orlando with a minor hand laceration. There were no other reported injuries.

Orlando fire crews responded to the apartment building on Orange Blossom Trail near Amelia Street about 2:40 a.m.

The fire was in a part of the building that had once been an office, and the debris inside fueled the blaze, said Orlando Fire District Chief Mark Austin.

It took about 45 minutes for the firefighters to put out the fire. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire, Austin said.
