L.A. County Firefighters Burned Battling Blaze

Two Los Angeles County firefighters suffered minor burns while battling a fire at a school early Tuesday morning, according to City News Service.Crews responded to the fire at Elliot Elementary School at 18415 Cortner Avenue in Artesia at approximately 2:42 a.m.The fire destroyed two classrooms and an adjoining bungalow, according to the department.The fire was contained by 3:07 a.m.One firefighter sustained minor burns to a hand while another suffered minor burns to a cheek.

Two Los Angeles County firefighters suffered minor burns while battling a fire at a school early Tuesday morning, according to City News Service.

Crews responded to the fire at Elliot Elementary School at 18415 Cortner Avenue in Artesia at approximately 2:42 a.m.

The fire destroyed two classrooms and an adjoining bungalow, according to the department.

The fire was contained by 3:07 a.m.

One firefighter sustained minor burns to a hand while another suffered minor burns to a cheek.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
