A firefighter was injured after a wall fell on him while he was battling a two-alarm fire on Tuesday in North Richland Hills, according to KXAS-TV.
The firefighter, who was not named, injured his leg and was transported to a nearby hospital.
Crews responded to the Wood Meadows Apartment on 6885 Meadowcrest just after 1 p.m. and found heavy fire.
The blaze damaged sixteen units and four of them were destroyed.
One resident was transported to the hospital with a leg injured she sustained while descending down the stairs.
Assistant Chief Kirk Marcum told the news station that the temperatures -- which reached close to 100 degrees -- made attacking the fire more difficult.
"It takes its toll," he said. "Just the amount of personnel you have to have out here to continue the operation. But they’ve done a good job and made a good stop on the fire."
