About 100 firefighters were at the scene of a three-alarm fire in
Baltimore City
Saturday.
Fire officials said the fire broke out at about 5:25 a.m. at Kaufman Products, a one-story warehouse-type building at 3811 Curtis Ave.
After crews gained entry and began an interior attack, they heard what appeared to be an explosion, prompting the incident commander to order an immediate evacuation of all crews.

After crews gained entry and began an interior attack, they heard what appeared to be an explosion, prompting the incident commander to order an immediate evacuation of all crews.
One firefighter was treated at the scene for heat exhaustion, according to fire officials.
Fire officials said the call was actually raised to four-alarms, but the fourth alarm manpower and equipment were not engaged in firefighting efforts.
