Three Texas Firefighters Injured Battling Blaze

Three Austin firefighters were injured while battling an overnight blaze at a Mexican restaurant, according to KVUE-TV.

Crews responded to the fire at Los Pinos Mexican Restaurant on Hudson Bend Road near Lake Travis at approximately 3 a.m.

Officials say the fire began in the attic and the flames were confined to the interior.

The three firefighters were hurt when a piece of wood inside the structure fell on them.

Two were transported to the hospital for neck and back injuries and were released a short time later.

The third suffered injuries to his hand.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
