Seven Injured In Indianapolis Apartment Fire

Several people were injured late Monday evening in a fire at an apartment building on Indianapolis' west side.
The fire broke out after 10 p.m. at the Port-O-Call apartments near the intersection of Vermont Street and Lynhurst Drive.
Wayne Township fire officials said seven people suffered minor injuries. One of those victims was taken to a hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
Everyone was able to get out of the apartments by the time firefighters arrived.
