Firefighters battled a blaze late Monday evening at an Amtrak rail yard in southeastern Marion County.
The fire broke out at about 10:30 a.m. in the company's diesel shop near Emerson Avenue and Churchman Street.
Train engines are rebuilt and repaired at the facility.
Beech Grove firefighters said the blaze was brought under control within a couple of hours, but firefighters stayed there overnight to douse any hot spots.
No one was injured.
