Ind. Firefighter Severely Injured During Training
A Salem firefighter is in intensive care after sustained a severe head injury during a training exercise on Saturday.
The unidentified firefighter was transported to University Hospital in Louisville, Ky. following the incident, , according to WDRB-TV.
Fire Chief Roger Pennington told the news station that it is "an extremely difficult time" for his department.
