MILWAUKEE -- Two firefighters were injured while battling a house fire in Milwaukee late Friday night. Crews were called to the house near Humboldt and Center Streets around 11:30 p.m. Officials said a woman does live in the home but was not in the building at the time of the fire. Her location is still unknown at this time. The Milwaukee Fire Department told 12 News the fire possibly started on the second floor, but the cause is still under investigation.

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital for muscle injuries. They are expected to be okay.
The fire caused about $150,000 in damage.
