Mich. Fire Hits Home, Business, Hurts Firefighter

SAGINAW, Mich. -- A fire ripped though a building that housed a home and a business Sunday evening in Saginaw. The fire occurred just before 7:30 p.m. at 1815 North Michigan. Fire officials said Keur Khalil African Hair Braiding, as well as a family home, were damaged in the fire. All members of the family made it out of the building safely. A firefighter received minor injuries while battling the blaze. The building is considered a total loss.

A fire ripped though a building that housed a home and a business Sunday evening in Saginaw.

The fire occurred just before 7:30 p.m. at 1815 North Michigan.

Fire officials said Keur Khalil African Hair Braiding, as well as a family home, were damaged in the fire.

All members of the family made it out of the building safely.

A firefighter received minor injuries while battling the blaze.
