Texas Firefighter Critically Burned in Wildfire

A Cactus firefighter remains in critical condition after sustaining burns while battling a wildfire over the weekend, according to The Amarillo Globe-News.

Firefighter Elias Jaquez was flown to the burn center in Lubbock on Saturday with third-degree burns to more than 60 percent of his body.

The wildfire, caused by electrical lines, scorched close to 60,000 acres.
