Three Louisville Firefighters Injured in Blaze

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Firefighters are at the scene of a house fire in the 600 block of Camp Street in the Shelby Park neighborhood. Part of their home suffered some damage as well.

Firefighters are at the scene of a house fire in the 600 block of Camp Street in the Shelby Park neighborhood.

So far, it has not been determined when or how the fire started.

As of 7:45 a.m., smoke was still pouring from the home.

A neighbor was awakened by the smoke. Part of their home suffered some damage as well.

A portion of the home that caught fire collapsed and is considered to be completely destroyed.

Three firefighters were taken to University of Louisville Hospital. One of them was seriously injured when he was trapped after the roof collapsed.

The second firefighter suffered burns to his neck and face, and the third injured his neck by a falling piece of debris.
