Neb. Man Accused of Assaulting Cop, Firefighter

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lincoln police said a man assaulted an officer and firefighter who were called out for a welfare check. Thirty-nine-year-old Ronald L. Burns II also kicked out the window of a police cruiser, authorities said. Burns was charged with assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and vandalism.
