A fire broke out Tuesday morning in a Dorchester building that houses a day care center.
The two-alarm fire at 18 Boyden St. that started at about 10 a.m. was caused by an electrical short in the wall, officials said.
The building houses a day care on the first floor and an apartment on the second floor. There were kids at the day care at the time of the fire but no children were injured.
One firefighter suffered an injury to his hand. He was treated and released from Carney Hospital.
