HAGERSTOWN, Md. --
Fire officials said a blaze that destroyed a duplex in Hagerstown, injuring a firefighter, was intentionally set.
The Hagerstown City Fire Marshal's Office is asking for the public's help in getting information on Saturday's fire.
The two-alarm fire was reported about 6:30 a.m. on Concord Street. The seven people who lived in the duplex escaped without injury. Officials said working smoke alarms gave the residents time to flee.
A firefighter suffered a minor burn in the blaze. Three cats died in the fire; two others were rescued.
