    Md. Firefighter Hurt in Fall at Fatal Train Accident

    ELLICOTT CITY, Md. -- Howard County police said an Ellicott City man died after he was hit by a train near Main Street. It happened just before 8 p.m. Sunday. Police identified the victim as Andrew Wade Pena, 28. Pena died at Shock Trauma. Police said that a firefighter who was at the scene was hurt in a fall. He was treated and released from Shock Trauma. The incident remains under investigation, but officers said they don't expect foul play.
