N.C. Firefighter Struck by Vehicle

A North Carolina firefighter was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night while directing traffic at a fire. Kevin Brown, with the Liberty Fire Department, was taken to Rowan Regional Medical Center, treated and released for minor injuries, according to the Salisbury Post.Deborah Horne, investigator with the Rowan County Fire Marshal’s office, said the firefighter avoided serious injury when he was able to jump on the hood of the car, the newspaper reported.
