Texas 18-Wheeler Crashes, Leaks Acid

HOUSTON -- An 18-wheeler overturned early Monday morning, and leaked hydrochloric acid, KPRC Local 2 reported. It happened near I-10 and Uvalde in northeast Harris County. The truck, operated by PVS Transportation, ended up on its side. Firefighters dressed in their hazmat suits while they worked in the area as a precaution. Officials said nearby residents were not affected by the chemical leak.

An 18-wheeler overturned early Monday morning, and leaked hydrochloric acid, KPRC Local 2 reported.

It happened near I-10 and Uvalde in northeast Harris County. The truck, operated by PVS Transportation, ended up on its side.
