Mo. B-52 Bomber Hangar Burns

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A massive fire overnight destroyed an old airplane hangar in south Kansas City. The hangar, located on 155th Street just west of U.S. Highway 71, was formerly used to house B-52 bombers, but it was currently being used as a storage facility for hay. Kansas City firefighters put water on the blaze when they arrived, but as the fire grew, they decided to let it burn itself out since there were no homes or other buildings in the area.
