Two firefighters were hurt fighting another suspicious fire at an abandoned house in Dravosburg early Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported about 3:15 a.m. at the house, which appeared to be used for storage, on Lebanon Church Road, Dravosburg Volunteer Fire Chief Wayne Cosgrove said.

"It was completely through the roof," Cosgrove said. "A lot of the house started to collapse in on itself."

One firefighter hurt his back when he slipped and another suffered heat exhaustion, Cosgrove said. Both were treated and released from UPMC McKeesport, he said.

It was the second fire on the street in about eight hours, Cosgrove said. Firefighters responded to a fire at another abandoned home on Lebanon Church Road at about 7 p.m. Monday, he said.

"They're both suspicious when nobody lives in the house and there are no utilities on," Cosgrove said.

The Allegheny County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fires.
