Maryland Firefighter Injured Battling Blaze

    A firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling a blaze in Edgewood, Md. Monday morning.

    Crews responded to the fire at the split-level single family home on Fishermans Lane after calls came in shortly before 8 a.m., according to WMAR-TV.

    Engines from Abingdon, Bel Air, Fallston, Kingsville and Aberdeen were on the scene.

    It took firefighters about an hour to bring the blaze under control.

    One firefighter was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center non-life-threatening injuries.

    The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
