Man Killed in Texas House Fire
Oct. 14--SAN ANTONIO -- A man was killed early Sunday in a house fire in Windcrest, officials said.
Firefighters were called to the 7900 block of Melbury Forest around 2:15 a.m. Sunday and found the home fully engulfed in flames. After extinguishing the fire, responders found the man who lived there dead.
Firefighters from the San Antonio Fire Department and the Windcrest Fire Department responded to the scene. The fire caused about $50,000 worth of damage, officials said.
Bexar County fire marshal investigators are looking into the cause of the blaze.
