W. Va. Firefighter Hurt Directing Traffic

The driver was issued two tickets.

A West Virginia  firefighter directing traffic at a water distribution site was hit by a vehicle.

West Side firefighter Jonathan Boggs reportedly argued with a driver he had stopped. Moments later, when the vehicle swerved around him, it struck his knee, according to WOWK.

A Kanawha County deputy nearby stopped the striking vehicle . Charles Pauley told the officer his car was overheating, and he was attempting to keep it going, the station reported.

Pauley was cited fro leaving the scene of a crash and reckless driving.
