A South Carolina firefighter is being treated in a burn center after being injured in a floor collapse at a house fire.
Jake DeLung was one of three firefighters injured in the brush and house fire near Florence Wednesday afternoon, WBTW reported.
DeLung, a Windy Hill firefighter who suffered second and third degree burns on his face and neck, is being treated at Augusta Burn Center.
A resident has been charged with the 12-acre fire that spread to a house, officials told reporters.
Firefighters with DeLung were able to rescue him after he yelled. Moments later, West Florence Firefighter Anthony Fox suffered an ankle injury when the front porch collapsed under him, the station reported.
Florence Firefighter Ed Richardson fell onto Fox, and also was inured.
