Detroit Cops Shoot Man Who Threatened Firefighter
A Detroit man who reportedly charged at a firefighter with a knife was shot by officers Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the residence for a welfare check, and the occupant yelled at them and officers to get out of his house, WXYZ reported.
Two officers shot the man after he ran toward the firefighter.
The firefighter suffered bruises, but was not stabbed, while the 61-year-old victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
