A NY firefighter collapsed and died after an emergency response.
Sag Harbor Firefighter Theodore A. Stafford, 73, suffered an unknown medical emergency at his home on May 2 after responding to a call. He was pronounced dead the same day.
Stafford had 48 years of service in the fire service.
To date, 22 firefighters have died on duty.
