NH Firefighter Dies Hours After Training

New Hampton Firefighter Douglas Clement, 43, died of an apparent heart attack.

A New Hampshire firefighter collapsed and died after a training drill.

New Hampton Firefighter Douglas A. Clement, 43, participated in a vehicle extrication exercise on June 14. 

Shortly after he went home, he suffered a medical emergency and was transported to the hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

An autopsy will determine the cause of death. However, a heart attack is suspected.

This brings to 27 the number of firefighters who died on duty this year.
