FL Firefighter Seriously Injured in Fall at Station

A Titusville firefighter was seriously injured while preparing to respond to an incident.

The firefighter was knocked unconscious when he fell.

Fellow crew members assisted him immediately. He was flown to Holmes Regional Medical Center for treatment. 

A CT scan came back clear. However, staples were used to close lacerations, according to the department's Facebook page.

An investigation is underway as well.
