An Arkansas firefighter was killed last week when the tanker he was driving rolled over.
Plainview Firefighter Lance Crawford, 50, was driving the 1996 Ford tanker on AR 60 when he lost control while trying to negotiate a curve.
He over-corrected, and while returning onto the road, the truck overturned three times. It came to rest on the driver's side, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Police did not say whether Crawford was wearing a seat belt or if he was ejected.
He was driving the vehicle during his department's regular drill.
