A firefighter was rushed to the hospital after his self-contained breathing apparatus facepiece came off while battling a Knoxville warehouse fire.
A Knoxville police officer first reported the fire at Aquarium Life Support Systems around 8:30 p.m., according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Officials said the fire was in the basement of the building and only one stairwell provided access to the fire area.
Capt. D.J. Corcoran told the newspaper that a firefighter accessing the basement tripped and fell and the facepiece came off.
