Lakeland Industries, Inc. declared the official NFPA 1970:2025 certification of their Lakeland Ultimate Glow + Leather Firefighting Gloves-NFPA 321 Series. This milestone signifies the first product in Lakeland Fire + Safety's portfolio to get NFPA 1970:2025 certification and is a major step forward in the company's continuous dedication to firefighter performance, protection, and compliance.

Strict new standards for structural firefighter gloves were set by the NFPA 1970:2025 standard, which addressed heat resistance, dexterity, durability, and overall performance in harsh environments. Lakeland's ability to innovate quickly while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety is demonstrated by its accreditation under this new standard. In the upcoming weeks, Lakeland anticipates that the NFPA 1970:2025 Certified Ultimate Glow+ Leather Firefighting Gloves-NFPA 321 Series will be on the market.

“We are incredibly excited to bring our first NFPA 1970:2025 certified product to market,” said Jim Jenkins, President and CEO of Lakeland Industries. “This certification reflects countless hours of engineering, testing, and collaboration, and we believe this glove will set a new benchmark for performance and protection.”

Additionally, this glove complies with the NFPA 1970:2025 list of banned compounds. This is the first of several goods encompassing Lakeland's whole product line that are in the certification process.

The Lakeland Ultimate Glow+ Leather Firefighting Gloves-NFPA 321 Series, which is said to be the first to announce an NFPA 1970:2025 certified glove to go into full production and hit the market, solidifies the company's standing as a pioneer in firefighter PPE innovation.
