NVFC, MSA Cairns 1836 Giveaway Submissions Open
In 2026, members of the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) will have four opportunities to win an MSA Cairns 1836 Fire Helmet. Currently, the initial entry period runs through April 30. There will be more entrance times in June, August and November.
For the fifth year, MSA Safety and the NVFC have partnered to provide helmets to volunteer firemen. A member of the NVFC and an active volunteer fireman in the United States are prerequisites for eligibility. Not a participant? Visit www.nvfc.org/join to sign up. Each member may only enter once during each entry period. Following each entry period, one beneficiary will be chosen at random from among all qualifying entries.
The MSA Cairns 1836 Fire Helmet boasts cutting-edge innovations that meet modern fire department requirements while showcasing the renowned traditional design. In addition to having a low ride height and a Defender Visor that can be adjusted in and out to fit a variety of facial shapes and sizes or over eyewear, it is lightweight and comfortable.
