Streamlight Launches PolyTac 1X

The PolyTac 1X, a small, multi-fuel tactical flashlight designed for professional performance in a variety of settings, was introduced by Streamlight, Inc. 

With its sturdy polymer body and rocky stipple grip texture for safe handling, the PolyTac 1X provides consistent lighting in situations where metal lights are less appealing. Powered by an AA alkaline or lithium battery, a CR123A lithium battery, or a Streamlight SL-B9 USB-rechargeable battery pack, the light is perfect for law enforcement, the military, industrial professionals, outdoor enthusiasts, and everyday carry (EDC) users. The PolyTac 1X is equipped with a high-output white LED, which is protected by a BOROFLOAT impact-resistant glass lens. With the A TEN-TAP programmable tactical tail switch, users can choose from High/Strobe/Low, High-Only, or Low/High programs. A detachable two-way pocket clip allows for various carrying methods.

The PolyTac 1X, designed for demanding environments, boasts an IPX7 rating, is waterproof up to 1 meter for half an hour, can withstand impacts from heights of up to 3 meters, and adheres to the Trade Agreement Act (TAA), making it ideal for military and professional applications.

Measuring 4.71 inches in length, the PolyTac 1X has a body diameter of 1.00 inch, a head diameter of 1.22 inches, and a major diameter of 1.35 inches. Its weight varies from 2.93 to 3.20 ounces, based on the type of battery. The PolyTac 1X and PolyTac 1X USB come in Black or Yellow, with MSRPs of $80.00 and $89.00, respectively, and are supported by Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
