LiteBox 1Million

The greatest long-range search light, the LiteBox 1Million, was introduced by Streamlight. The LiteBox 1Million, designed for demanding professional applications, can deliver one million candela over a beam distance of more than one mile. Compared to its predecessor, the HID LiteBox, this durable, rechargeable, next-generation scene light is smaller and lighter. It is compatible with current LiteBox accessories and has been updated to meet contemporary technological standards. The new light was unveiled in Indianapolis, IN.

In addition to providing wide peripheral illumination for scene lighting applications, the fully portable search light delivers a strong, long-range beam that can highlight objects more than 1.25 miles distant. The light is ideal for long-distance outdoor navigation, boating and maritime applications, perimeter scanning, utility and industrial inspections, firefighting and other emergency response duties. Its articulating head rotates 270 degrees and pivots 135 degrees, allowing for precise placement on high-altitude or difficult-to-reach targets like power lines and high-rise buildings, enhancing situational awareness in challenging circumstances.

The long-range beam and ultra-bright light of the LiteBox 1Million are produced by a deep dish parabolic reflector and three white high power LEDs. On high, the light produces 3,300 lumens, 1 million candela and a 4-hour run time; on low, it produces 500 lumens, 175,000 candela and a run time of up to 20 hours.

“The LiteBox 1Million provides outstanding reach, powerful brightness, portability and extended operation to help first responders, industrial crews and other professionals illuminate accident or fire scenes, roads or job sites,” said Streamlight President Michael F. Dineen. “It’s built tough, keeping the rugged performance users expect, and it seamlessly integrates with the LiteBox charger ecosystem.”

Two 7.2 volt, 6.8 amp Li-Ion battery packs, which may be recharged up to 500 times, power the scene light. An easy-to-use red/green battery status indicator is included into the light's translucent boot switch, and it flashes red when the battery has 15 minutes or less left. Using the supplied power supplies, the scene light fully recharges in nine hours.

The LiteBox 1Million measures 12.5 inches in length, 6.8 inches high and weighs 7.0 pounds with battery. Other features include:

  • Weatherproof, high-impact ABS thermoplastic housing
  • Cushioned grip handle
  • Reinforced D-rings for attaching the included heavy-duty shoulder strap
  • Vehicle Mount System
  • Available in Orange

The LiteBox 1Million has an MSRP that ranges from $659.00 to $715.00 depending on the configuration. Each comes with Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Portable Scene Light III

The Portable Scene Light III (PSL III), a high-output, waterproof illumination system with up to 10,000 lumens for fire, emergency response, military, industrial, and outdoor applications, has been introduced by Streamlight. In Indianapolis, IN, the new system made its debut.

With 12 LEDs with wide-pattern reflectors that provide consistent scene illumination and three output settings to suit the task, the PSL III offers strong, versatile performance. With a two-hour run time, it offers 10,000 lumens and 121,000 candela for optimal scene illumination when on High. While Low gives 2,500 lumens and 38,000 candela with up to 8 hours of run time for longer-duration use, Medium offers 5,000 lumens and 61,000 candela for balanced output and prolonged 4-hour operation.

The PSL III's 5-in-1 modular design allows it to be utilized with or without the supplied tripod, giving it versatility in the field. For longer operation, the system has AC and DC power sources in addition to interchangeable lithium-ion batteries. Quick setup is made possible with a single-button tripod release and a quick-mount system. The light head can be precisely positioned where illumination is required thanks to its 360-degree rotation and 180-degree pivot. The light can be fully rotated even while it is installed on the tripod, providing additional freedom to change the angle without moving the base. There is a wireless remote that may be coupled with several lights for synchronized operation and offers complete control from a distance of up to 75 feet.

The PSL III's tripod system, which is designed for improved stability, storage, and field mobility, is a significant addition to Streamlight's Portable Scene Light series. The tripod has convertible feet with flat feet for hard surfaces and spiked tips for solid placement on uneven or soft terrain. It can reach a length of 92 inches. The tripod can withstand winds of up to 40 mph. Two cradles are part of integrated battery management to provide easy access to backup power. Easy transportation and quick deployment are made possible by the lightweight design and integrated carry handle.

“Whether on the fireground, emergency scenes or complex worksites, reliable lighting is critical for safety, visibility, and operational efficiency,” said Michael F. Dineen, Streamlight President. “The Portable Scene Light III delivers high-lumen output, rapid deployment, and flexible power options to support crews in dynamic, low-light environments.”

When the battery is attached, the PSL III is IPX7-rated (waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes); when it is not, it is IPX4-rated. Its robust, impact-resistant polypropylene casing is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, and its controls are glove-friendly.

The light head weighs 7.5 pounds with the accompanying battery and is 7.5 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 9 inches high. The tripod can extend up to 92 inches with spiked feet or 88 inches with flat feet, and it collapses to 37.7 inches for transportation. It has an integrated carry handle for convenient transporting and weighs 13.3 lbs. When mounted, the light and tripod weigh a total of 23.5 pounds.

The MSRP of the Portable Scene Light III system is $1,759, whereas the MSRP of the Portable Scene Light III-Light is $1,014. Streamlight's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers both.

Vantage helmet light upgrade

The Vantage helmet light from Streamlight has been upgraded with a greater candela, simpler battery swaps, and improved ergonomics.

The updated Vantage, designed specifically for industrial and firefighting settings, generates 225 lumens and 22,000 candela, providing a concentrated beam through smoke and cloud while retaining usable peripheral light. Its ultra-bright blue rear safety LED and 297-meter beam distance improve visibility in dangerous situations.

The Vantage installs safely above or below the brim of both conventional and contemporary fire helmets since it is small, light, and low-profile. The revised battery door improves efficiency during prolonged occurrences by enabling tool-free battery replacement without removing the helmet's light when mounted below the brim. The light can run for five hours on two CR123A lithium batteries.

For quick, dependable operation, the user-friendly, ambidextrous, dual-direction tail switch is still in place. To maximize beam placement, the clamp provides 360-degree rotation.

The Vantage is IPX7-rated, impact-resistant, and waterproof to one meter for thirty minutes. It is made of 6000 series machined aviation aluminum with a shock-mounted BOROFLOAT glass lens. It satisfies NFPA 1970-14.2 (2025) heat requirements of 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

With batteries, the updated Vantage weighs 5.08 ounces. It is 2.67 inches tall (with clamp), 1.43 inches broad, and 3.08 inches long.

The Vantage is covered by Streamlight's Limited Lifetime Warranty, has an MSRP of $270.91, and is serialized for positive identification.
