The City of Franklin Division of Fire has 32 career, part-time and volunteer firefighters that operate out of its new fire station. The department serves 8.1 square miles in the northwest corner of Warren County in southwestern Ohio, which is home to approximately 12,000 residents and numerous businesses.
A unique feature of the training room is the double-duty sprinkler system for the station, which is exposed in the training area and outfitted with the appropriate valves to allow it to also be used in training exercises. The room also serves as a community meeting room and is outfitted with the appropriate communications equipment and generator to serve as an Emergency Operations Center.Photos by Chief Jonathan M.
