Rapid City Station 7 serves the city's north side with Engine 7, Medic 7, Brush 7 and a mobile command unit.

Rapid City Station 7 was built in 2009 and is home to Engine 7, Medic 7, Brush 7 and a mobile command unit.

Station 7 is situated on the city's north side and the primary response area includes an area that was recently built including shopping areas, hotels and scrap yards. They respond to several miles of Interstate 90.

Three firefighters staff the engine, with two on the medic unit. Like all Rapid City stations, they also have a brush unit that is cross-staffed. 

In addition to the engine, medic, brush and command units, the station also houses a spare ambulance. The apparatus floor also includes a work area for equipment maintenance. 

The living area included a large watch room/work office, television room and kitchen. Each on-duty member has a bunk room.

The firefighters have created makeshift workout area in the rear yard, which is used in addition to a gym.
