 Baghdad, IraqWhen the US Army rolled into Baghdad, they needed fire protection in order to land aircraft at the airport. They called and the 369th Engineer Detachment out of Norristown, PA answered.

The US Army and US Air Force provide fire protection for all of Baghdad International Airport. We are located in an abandoned Iraqi fire station. We have 4 structural pumpers/crash trucks, 3 confiscated Iraqi fire vehicles, 4 P-19 crash trucks, and 2 brush trucks.Photos by Spc. Matthew Hulme, 369th Firefighters, US ARMY
