After years of planning and anticipation, Prosper, Texas has a new Central Fire Station. Crews began responding from the new 11,000 square foot facility on July 19, 2004. The new station features 4 pull through bays that can accommodate eight fire trucks, sleeping quarters for ten fire fighters, four administrative offices, a dining room, kitchen, day room, and a conference room.
Crews now respond from this new 11,000 square foot facility. The new station replaces an aging Fire Hall that was built by members of the department when the department was all volunteers.Photos by Brandon Wagoner
