Kingsley EMS crews and firefighters have a new place to call home.

And, it's all because the late Francis and Annola Schweitzberger left them their farm.

"It was willed to the fire and ambulance service in Kingsley," Fire Chief Brandon Sitzmann told KTIV.

The couple wrote that the fire department would receive the proceeds from the sale of the farm. And that's just what happened.

Kingsley Ambulance Chief Bobbi Hirschman told reporters: "In our old building, we couldn’t even open all of the doors on our ambulance on the sides all the way without running into something else."

The 51 volunteers are very proud of their new station and showed it off recently.
