Vehicles of Columbus, OH, Firefighters Vandalized in Station Parking Lot
While Columbus firefighters at a station were on duty, their personal vehicles were being broken into.
But, firefighters weren't the only ones who found their vehicles' windows smashed and items stolen.
Columbus Fire Fighters (sic) Union President Steve Stein told 10tv: "We have some fire stations that are fenced in and have gates and some that don't, and this happened to occur at a fire station that did not have a gate."
Vehicle break-ins across the city the past few days are being investigated.
While putting up fences and gates at stations isn't possible in some areas, city officials are studying other security enhancements.
