This makes the QXT purpose-built for today’s fire service. On top of it all, Bullard offers firefighters a five-year imager and battery warranty.

Command Light
Firefighters face many obstacles. Seeing shouldn’t be one of them. Nevertheless, many responders battle the dark, because their apparatus isn’t equipped with a light tower. Command Light, in conjunction with HiViz LED Lighting, introduced a cost-effective light fixture that’s exclusive to the light tower manufacturer, shaving the cost of a new light tower by 33 percent while delivering 14,000 lumens per fixture. The Helios can be specified on any Command Light series light tower and is designed for quartz halogen-to-LED retrofits.
IBR1700 Series routers provide Gigabit-class LTE connectivity as well as Ethernet and Wi-Fi. These purpose-built endpoints are sold as part of a NetCloud Package that includes a subscription to the NetCloud Service, continuous modem and software feature enhancements, 24/7 support, on-demand training and a limited lifetime warranty.
Crestline Coach
Safety and durability are the cornerstones of the new Crestline CCL 150 product line. The Type I and Type III models are loaded with standard features and backed by a lifetime paint warranty and lifetime structural warranty. Built with remountability in mind, all Crestline brand models are constructed to last, with worry-free maintenance and readily available parts.
Demers Ambulances
The Demers MXP153 Arctic Range Edition ambulance is designed with warmer climates in mind. It features a premium insulation package and climate control. The Type I ambulance includes an efficient insulation package and the company’s coldest HVAC system ever.
Elbeco’s new shield protective mask (patent pending) contains three layers of 100 percent Supima cotton that has a fluid-repellent exterior and antimicrobial interior layers, including a pocket for disposable filters. The mask is contoured to fit the face; a nose wire prevents the passage of air between the mask and the face of the wearer. The cord, which has an adjustable toggle, provides enhanced fit and eliminates pressure on the ears. A breakaway snap safely removes the mask if pulled, protecting the wearer.
ESO Fire RMS is next-generation software that’s designed to meet the most demanding and evolving needs of today’s fire service. Easy-to-use, powerfully data-rich modules—including Incidents, Personnel Management, Scheduling, Properties and Inspections, Activities, Permits, Asset Management, Checklists and Hydrants—provide all that you need to keep your communities and crews safe.
HAIX North America
The company’s newest boot that’s dedicated to wildland firefighting, the Missoula 2.1, is certified NFPA 1977 for wildland firefighting and certified for electrical hazard resistance. The durably tough, European split bull leather is water-resistant and breathable to keep your feet as comfortable as possible. The lighter weight of the boot helps to alleviate leg fatigue during long hikes. The newly designed, highly heat resistant Vibram sole combines with the special design of the heel to offer greater footholds on even the steepest of terrain.
Harrison Hydra-Gen
Harrison hydraulic generators can provide power for your truck while it is idling. Now, the hPower Idle Reduction System can do the same when your truck is off. The system provides power for all of your DC requirements while satisfying idle-mitigation regulations. It does this by seamlessly integrating with the apparatus chassis drivetrain system and electrical system. Fleets can reduce fuel costs, reduce excessive engine wear and scene noise, promote cleaner air for the environment and provide operators with cab comfort without running the vehicle’s engine.
During a disaster, time is of the essence. Delays in response potentially could mean the difference between life and death. To ensure a quick and dependable response, first responders need access to an on-demand, failproof connectivity solution that is easy to deploy. FlexMove is up to the task. Powered by the award-winning Epic high-throughput satellite fleet, this global, end-terminal managed service makes it easy for first responders to access connectivity to the internet and applications via a mobile device/laptop anywhere that their mission takes them, no matter how remote or hostile the location.
Koehler Brightstar
This compact, USB-rechargeable headlamp has six modes: high (185 lumens), medium and low on “Spot”; high and low on “Flood”; and a flash mode for signaling. The Spot high beam reaches a distance of 206 feet and runs six hours. The Spot low mode runs just over four days. The headlamp fits under most shields and visors and provides a solid grip on a helmet. The adjustable mount tilts down to see ground. The headlamp: is IPx4 rated; weighs 3.5 ounces; and includes UL protection methods for safety.
Lenco Armored Vehicles
The newly designed Lenco Advanced Rescue MedEvac G3 is a versatile, multipurpose, armored response and rescue vehicle. It is designed to receive multiple patients via its four-litter capacity, sliding medic seat, and onboard medical equipment and storage. Built of Mil-Spec Armor materials on a commercial chassis, the vehicle withstands winds up to 233 mph and ballistic attacks up to .50 cal. Its capability to drive over terrain that’s inaccessible to other rescue vehicles makes the Advanced Rescue MedEvac G3 suitable for responding to hurricane emergencies, active-shooter callouts and mudslides.
OnScene Solutions
The new SafeTSystem Folding Hand Cart allows a single firefighter to safely and securely transport eight air cylinders at one time from apparatus to the fire scene or rehab or to the SafeTSystem Mobile Station Rack. The SCBA cylinder cart folds into a compact design (10.5 x 29-inch) and stores in most any fire apparatus compartment. The cart can be used in conjunction with OnScene Solutions’ other SafeTSystem components, including holder carriers, transport box and apparatus compartment base.
Petzl America
The development of the MAESTRO mechanical belay device expands Petzl’s rescue solution offerings. The device integrates a unidirectional progress capture pulley with a descender, which maximizes efficiency and limits the amount of equipment and users that are needed to access and evacuate casualties in vertical or confined-space environments. This all-in-one advantage makes the transfer between raising and lowering simple and rapid. A high-efficient pulley on sealed ball bearings provides improved hauling capability. Similar to the new I’D line, the MAESTRO’s AUTO-LOCK system is engaged automatically when the handle is released, requiring no action from the user.
Pierce Manufacturing
Two brands come together to offer the PACCAR MX-13 big-block engine, which is available exclusively on Pierce custom chassis in North America. The PACCAR MX-13 engine brings efficiency and flexibility together into one high-performance solution. This engine, which is available in 510 hp with 1,850 foot-pounds of torque, incorporates design features that help to keep you running with improved fuel economy and low maintenance.
The new Warrior leather boot meets all of your safety, comfort and durability criteria but retails for almost 50 percent of the price of the legendary Commander/Marshall, which puts the Warrior in the price range of rubber boots. The Warrior features: fire-resistant, waterproof, 2 mm leather that has sealed seams and handles; a composite toe protector and a puncture-resistant insole; a breathable and abrasion-resistant antimicrobial-treated lining; a waterproof, breathable and pathogen-resistant Drylock III membrane; 200g Thinsulate insulation; a removable polyurethane foam molded insole; a scuff-resistant bumper toe; an injected natural rubber outsole; high-visibility reflective inserts; fire-resistant Kevlar thread; and NFPA 1971, ASTM and CSA ESR certification.
Super Vacuum Mfg.
Super Vac’s new battery-powered chainsaw conversion kit turns out-of-the-box wood-cutting DeWalt, Makita and Milwaukee battery-powered chainsaws into heavy-duty rescue saws for the fire industry. The kit features a carbide-tipped chain that’s designed to cut through roof materials, asphalt shingles and light metal. The kit’s custom bar accommodates the wider chain gauge and a depth gauge for roof ventilation. The kit joins the company’s growing battery fan lineup that’s compatible with DeWalt and Milwaukee batteries and that’s available in 16- and 18-inch models.
Designed through meticulous care, preparation and engineering, the new rear-mount SLR 108, with its 108-foot Huck bolted aluminum ladder, brings safety and fire awareness to every aspect of the apparatus. Once on scene, the SLR 108 pushes boundaries and accounts for the obstacles and unpredictability that’s presented by every fire.
SVI Trucks
Expanding its lineup of fire apparatus, SVI Trucks added a Type 4 Wildland Engine to its pumper and tanker lineup. Unlike a Type 3 midship PTO-driven pump, the Type 4 pump is driven by its own engine, which is located at the rear of the apparatus (with single- or dual-door access to the pump’s components). Because the new vehicle is built on a 4 x 4 commercial chassis that includes spring-loaded bodies and pump modules, departments can specify single- or two-stage pumps with 250–1,500 gpm capabilities.
Tomar Electronics
The Aspire Pole Mounted Series takes illumination to a new height. This new series features all of the benefits of the rugged and reliable TRX Series and combines powerful illumination with the flexibility of independently adjustable light-heads. By doing this, the series increases scene light performance and, more importantly, your safety.
For firefighters who serve in the Sacramento, CA, Metropolitan Fire District (SMFD), responding to back-to-back emergency calls 24/7 isn’t out of the ordinary. Answering SMFD’s call for new fire engines, Toyne stall-built two fully customized pumper tankers. Each tailored apparatus boasts a pair of Waterous CSPA 1000 and E511-C pumps and has the capacity to store 2,000 gallons of water. Built with bolted/painted stainless-steel bodies, the apparatus have custom pump panel controls, spacious equipment compartments, rear ladder storage and crosslay above the pump.
As wildfires evolved, WaterAx was conscious that there were ways to improve the MARK-3 pump. We sought the feedback of wildland firefighters around the world and developed the MARK-3 Watson Edition to respond to your needs while allowing you to work safer and react more quickly. The MARK-3 Watson Edition has a four-stage high-pressure pump end that is lighter, more efficient and more durable. It also features the first purpose-built engine that’s specifically designed for wildland firefighting.
