National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS), a cloud-based platform that collects and reports on local and national fire service data, is being rolled out nationwide. It replaces the legacy National Fire Incident Reporting System.

NERIS rolled out in 2024 to provide fire departments with faster data collection, smarter reporting, and deeper analytics.
