NERIS Essentials: Updated Features Rolled Out

The NERIS platform for fire department data collection has introduced updates for existing users and is still working to on board departments.

The National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) is a cloud-based platform that collects and reports on national and local fire service data. The system is being implemented in fire departments across the United States, replacing National Fire Incident Reporting System.

NERIS launched out in 2024 to provide fire departments with quicker data collection, smarter reporting, and deeper analytics.
