PRYME and Tango Tango to Deliver Hands-Free Communication for Public Safety
Tango Tango, a mobile app that links cellphones to current two-way radio systems, and PRYME announced an expanding collaboration. The companies are providing integrated, hands-free communication solutions to improve operational efficiency and safety for a variety of markets, including public safety agencies, religious organizations, and professional sports teams, in addition to PRYME's widely used Wireless push-to-talk (PTT) Buttons.
According to Ray Brown, Business Development Executive at Tango Tango, PRYME’s Wireless PTT devices have become a key enabler for many of their program users.
“PRYME has been a critical component for Tango Tango customers,” said Brown. “Our users have come to depend on PRYME’s PTT Buttons to achieve reliable, hands-free operation. PRYME’s advanced technology have opened doors to new customers and expanded our user base across a range of industries.”
Cross-platform communication between smartphones, radios, and dispatch centers is made possible by Tango Tango's mobile application, which expands radio capabilities over cellular and Wi-Fi networks. Additionally, it enables users to maintain connectivity without having to carry heavy two-way radios. When used in conjunction with PRYME's wireless PTT buttons, users can silently and safely send data over the network at the pressing of a button without ever having to touch their phones. Beyond public safety, the joint approach has gained widespread acceptance.
In high-security settings like sporting events and sizable ministries, where discretion and coordination are crucial, the application/accessory collaboration has proven particularly beneficial. These organizations now depend on PRYME accessories and the Tango Tango app to maintain communication amongst security personnel.
These days, faith-based groups, national sports teams, fire departments, law enforcement agencies, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions all employ PRYME and Tango Tango's collaborative solutions. These sectors appreciate the ability to use PRYME's superior, field-tested audio accessories and Tango Tango's digital interoperability to connect classic land mobile radio systems with broadband.
Both businesses are looking into potential integrations to improve performance in a wider variety of mission-critical communication environments as the partnership develops.
