Firehouse's Peter Matthews caught up with Darren Saravis and Kevin Kuhlman of X-naut to learn about how their cooling case innovations can keep firefighters connected, even when the temperatures get high.

Saravis, CEO of X-naut, designed the initial iPad cooling package after the iPad he was using to fly his personal plane overheated and shut down as he prepared to land. Since then, he launched the X30 and X90 cooling cases, specifically to help keep firefighter's iPads cool during wildland deployments or when your command tablet is sitting in the hot sun during a multi-alarm fire.

Kuhlman, a battalion chief, highlights how he's been using the X90 on the streets and how it improves their abilities without worry over shut down concerns.
