Ohio Chief Texts Fire Status to TV Station

ISLAND CREEK, Ohio -- A structure in Jefferson County was destroyed after fire ripped through it Wednesday. The blaze broke out at about 3 p.m. at the building on Township Road 613 in Island Creek Township. There were no reported injuries. The fire chief at the scene sent NEWS9 a text message stating that when he arrived at the scene, the structure was already a total loss.
