The rebranding of Head Rush Technologies to TruBlue Technologies was announced. The company's progress over the last five to ten years—new product lines, new markets, and the expansion of its flagship product, the TruBlue Auto Belay, into new safety-at-height applications—is reflected in the new name.

With its newest product, the TruBlue SafeLine, TruBlue Technologies is expanding solutions for professional work-at-height applications and firefighter and line worker training globally, building on its proprietary magnetic braking technology. The business will keep producing top-notch climbing, ziplining, and free fall equipment.

After extensive field testing, including several bailout scenarios involving both manikins and trainees, the SafeLine was granted the Firehouse Labs Seal of Approval in 2025. The gadget has started to be included into programs at firefighter training centers around the United States. Unlike a self-retracting lifeline (SRL) or "yo-yo," which is primarily intended for fall arrest, the TruBlue SafeLine is increasingly utilized in training and operational environments that need repeatable performance and flexibility of mobility. The company is strategically focusing more on safety-at-height solutions that lower human error, enhance training results, and facilitate safer, more productive work in challenging at-height conditions as demand for these applications keeps rising.

In order to provide customers worldwide with more dependability, consistency, and value, TruBlue Technologies has expanded its safety product portfolio, strengthened its service capabilities in the UK, established a presence in China, and advanced important initiatives like its annual service subscription and the No Delay Belay program. These advancements demonstrate the company's ongoing expansion and its commitment to providing clients with dependable, scalable safety solutions as their requirements change in both professional and adventurous work-at-height settings.

“This change isn’t just cosmetic. It reflects a natural evolution of who we are and where we’re heading,” said Lea Ann Zuellig, CEO of TruBlue Technologies. “The TruBlue name represents our most recognized and trusted product, known for safety, reliability, and performance."

The company has greatly increased both its global reach and product portfolio since launching the TruBlue Auto Belay in 2010. TruBlue Technologies has operations in the UK, France, and China in addition to its headquarters in Louisville, Colorado. The company supports safer and more accessible climbs for customers in 60 countries and six continents by collaborating with more than 120 distributors and more than 30 service centers worldwide. With over 67,000 devices in use and ongoing expansion into new professional sectors, TruBlue Technologies is well-positioned for a prosperous future.

Current clients and partners won't be impacted by the makeover. The company's new name more accurately captures its future scale while maintaining the same objective, team, and product quality. In the upcoming weeks, TruBlue Technologies will refresh its logo and website, and over the next few months, it will expand to new product branding.
